The weekly rhythm
Stickhandling, shooting, passing — five skill drills that rotate every two weeks.
Week start for the mind: three skill drills plus two mental mini-drills — visualizing, hero stance or a weekly goal. Boosts confidence.
Strength, jump, stability: three skill drills plus two athletic drills — they turn skills into real playing ability.
Test of the week: four skill drills plus one tough Boss drill — clear it and you get a patch. Four in a row make a skill jump.

One example per type
In the app, Heroskills assembles five drills into a 10-minute session every day — from 54 drills that rotate daily. Here you see one example per type: the daily skill drill, a wildcard bonus and the weekly specials — Motivation on Monday, Athletics on Wednesday and Boss Friday.

Find a wall with points you can count — knots, leaves, bricks. Dribble close to the wall and look at the wall instead of the ball. Count out loud how many points you spot. You tap in the number of points you saw — the dribbling is just the backdrop.
Gear: Stick · ball · a wall with countable points

Place two cones just 40-50 cm apart in front of you. Lead the ball in a tight figure-8 around the cones. Feet stay put. 1 figure-8 = 1 rep. Head up.
Gear: Stick · ball · 2 cones

Stand like a hockey hero after a big game. Feet stable, chest out, chin up, hands on hips or arms up in a victory V. Hold the position until the timer ends, breathe calmly and tell yourself: “I'm ready. I can do this!”

Put each foot on a towel. Slide out sideways like skating, knees low. Pull back on both sides — left + right = 1 rep.
Gear: 2 towels · smooth floor

Scatter up to 15 objects across the floor (pucks, cups, toys). Stand at one edge. Dribble through the mess as fast as possible. Touch nothing but your own ball. You tap in: how many seconds can you go without a touch? Head up.
Gear: Stick · ball · up to 15 objects (pucks, cups, toys, …)
What you need: Hockey stick, soft ball, two cones, a bit of tape and 3×3 m of floor. No ice, no coach — Heroskills fills the days between club practices.
Frequently asked
No. All drills work on a 3×3 m floor with stick, soft ball and two cones. Heroskills doesn't replace ice training at the club — it fills the gap on the other days of the week.
8 to 15 minutes — five drills with short breaks. Done when the timer runs out or the kid taps “Finished”. You don't have to plan, choose or explain anything.
During the beta phase until August 16, 2026, nothing — for everyone who joins. No credit card, no auto-renewal. We build, you test, we shape it together.
From age 8 — when the kid can practice 10 focused minutes on their own. Three age groups (8–10, 11–13, 14–16) with adapted pace, distance and difficulty.
10 minutes a day, five skill drills, without ice and without a coach. That adds up to 60+ hours of extra training per year — sport-specific, age-appropriate and measurable.
Stickhandling like wide figure-8, toe-drag and short-short-long, plus wall shots, flip pass and athletics like skater jumps, squats or plank. All on a 3×3 m floor with stick, soft ball and two cones — no special gear needed.
You practice stickhandling at home on 3×3 m with stick and soft ball — entirely without ice. The core drills: wide figure-8, toe-drag, between-the-legs and short-short-long, always head up and ball close to the blade. 10 minutes daily beats rare long sessions. Heroskills serves five such stickhandling and skill drills every day, age-appropriate and measurable.
10 minutes a day is enough. Consistency beats volume: 10 min × 365 days is over 60 hours of extra training per year — more visible than 2 hours once a week.
Heroskills is in beta — free until August 16, 2026. You train, we listen, we keep building. No trial, no credit card, no auto-renewal.
